Let the Leaves Change Colors, Not Your Teeth

With fall comes the stunning change of leaves for most of this great country. We love to feel the cooler air and start getting ready for holiday festivities and time with our family and friends. Fall is one of those seasons that make most people cheerful because who can resist the yellows, oranges, and reds of the trees? While we enjoy the changing colors of the trees, we don’t appreciate the changing colors of our teeth. Here are a few ways you can avoid those changes.

Use a Straw – When drinking beverages like tea, soda, coffee, and berry juice, we recommend using a straw. The straw keeps the beverage off of your teeth to protect them from staining.

Limit Stain-Prone Foods – Some foods cause more stains than others. Berries might be great for breakfast, but limit how often to eat them and brush right after. The same goes for tomato sauce. These foods taste great, but can stain your teeth.

Look Into Bleaching – When your teeth are at a point where you just aren’t happy with them, we recommend coming into the office for bleaching. We can greatly alter the color of your teeth to give you a stunning smile you can be proud of once again.

When it comes to keeping your teeth white and beautiful, we recommend watching what you eat and drink! Over time, your teeth will change shades. When that happens, don’t hesitate to reach out for help. Contact us today to set up an appointment.
